those uniforms are SO BAD i dont know if i could root for a team outfitted like that. those were almost as bad as when a couple college basketball teams tried to put those leotard spandex uniforms on thier teams. holy crap those were horrifying, if i had kids i wouldnt have let them watch thing is when they change unis it can go SO BADLY that you are better off staying with what you have. i dont like the fancy new uniforms these days, all the stupid looking boxes and lines and crap.im a fan of the more plain look, i like solid colors and blue and red and green and black and white, im not so much a fan of teal or other things they could do.
As long as they stayed in the area, I wouldn't care about the team colors or the team name, I'd still be a fan.
Hey if he can get Tennessee to give up the Titans name, he'd be far smarter than I've got him penned in for. Color change? YES PLEASE. I've stated my opinion on this many times.
The whole green thing was a Hess thing. The problem with them linking the colors to any corporate entity now would be as follows:

So what, then I'd root for the Jersey Bandaids...in the lovely colors of brown and clear. edit: some of the guys on this site are way too obsessed with clothing for it to be healthy.
If the Jets stopped being Green and White, and stopped being the Jets, then they would no longer be the team I rooted for my entire life.
Oh no, I have psychosis as my motive. Green and White - Same color as the field.....could be better served with other colors.

Yeah..the whole reason I became a jet fan when i was little was b/c green was my fav. color. If they switched colors the pain of realizing I couldve been a steeler fan along w/ my father and my extended family would be even greater than it is now.
No to a team name change. No to changing the colors. No to moving away. As pessimistic as some of our fans may be, we are Jets fans. Get on board or get the hell out of the way!!!
The Jets have a great history. This franchise was part of an upstart league that had some great players and helped revolutionize the passing game. We had one of the first of the pure great throwers and we of course have the distinction of the biggest upset in the biggest game ever that will always have great historical distinction. We also have had some amazing players and the white uniforms with the green trim will always be a classic and classy uniform. I would hate to see us abandon our identity because management wasn't up to the history or class of the colors that this team has always had.
This team has a great history and it has had some tremendous players and great moments. It's not the uniform or the history that's preventing the Jets from being a great team again.
Personnaly, I think the Titans colors are more bad-ass than the Jets colors. Just add "Jets" to the helmets. They seem to play better when wearing the throwback uniforms. But they would still be the Same Old Jets.
