I have seen this same thread about 50 times now...why would you post it again? Here are a few I found in 5 minutes. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=31608 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=31395 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=31090 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=30852 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=29584
If this happens, I think we either trade down with someone who's looking for Ellis or Ryan or we take Stewart. The way we're hearing the Jets love Stewart is the EXACT same way we heard that the Jets loved Revis last year. If we trade down I still think he's our target. I'll be most happy with Ryan, Stewart, Mendenhall, or Harvey there if we stay though.
I think we see what plays out but financially after the free agent spending spree we should trade down for some extra second round picks. Too bad Miami & Atlanta pick ahead of us. Atlanta has three 2nd round picks and Miami 2
This it what happens when you get a meaningless win against the Chiefs. As I stated before the game even if we win we lose and sure enough here we are.
I just punched a strangers baby. If that's what you've been posting this ad naseum for, congrats. The little fucker's crying now.
I don't understand why would the Jets even consider picking either Ryan or McFadden? I don't see Ryan as a "franchise" quarterback. I think the team is fine with either Clemens or Pennington at the helm. The team should be focused on getting an impact defensive player. Another rookie QB means waiting for him to develop, possibly dividing the team, and more overpaying for a position in which you're already set. The same goes for McFadden. Great talent, but questionable character. If a RB is such a "need", look later. I think if you're Baltimore, who needs a QB...I don't call the Jets. I dare them to make Ryan their pick and watch the fall out.
