Absolutely not, Maybin was like 230 pounds out of College, Barr is a natural 250+ and can even put on some more if you wanted him to.

This is the point that so many people struggle with because of the highly-influenced inundation of media draft coverage. The Jets use a proprietary list - the end. Anyone else's rankings have zero impact on theirs. Because of this, the Jets are GUARANTEED to get no worse than the 18th best player in the draft with the 18th overall pick.

When you factor in other teams having their own proprietary rankings, and thus selecting players outside of the Jets' top 18 before the Jets pick, the Jets will likely get a player who is considerably better than the 18th best player in the draft. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that they end up with a guy that they have evaluated as being one of the 10 best players in the draft next Thursday; just last season they got a guy who was one of the four best players in the draft with the 13th overall selection.

The only thing to "worry" about is just how much faith you have in this FO's player evaluation skills, which are obviously what control the proprietary rankings they use.
