Cinvis, got my GB tix the other day, section 135, row 52 - where are you staying? We are at the Radisson - connected to the Oneida Casino -
I stayed there last year. Nice place. This year I'm staying in Appleton. A little town 20 minutes from GB. Did you get your tix from packersfantours?
I will be at the Pats, Lions and Bears game this year. I may go to the Dolphins and bills game if i get around to getting tickets. I will also be going to green bay for the packers game.
I'm going to the Packers game too, first row in the endzone "lambeau leap seats" I can't wait. Is the Raddison close to the stadium? I got my tix on ebay too. $730
Just printed out my tix for Lions@Jets on October 22nd and am so stoked just looking at em! Cannot wait.
Non-season-ticket-holder here... I go to school in Indy, so I won't have many chances to be at games this year. I'll be at home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I got tickets to the Beras game on November 19th and the New Years Eve Raiders game.. Should be sweet..
Jets Bills game. The last time I was at Bill's Stadium Neil O'Donell went down in flames. The best part of the game was when my wife climbed over the seat behind us and beat the living tar out of some fat bitch who dumped beer on her. heehee that was great.
I know Im in the gigantic minority here but Ive never liked live football....for me sunday is all about being on the couch with my football package.....I throw the wife and kids out of the house all day...after the jets or before the jets I watch a little of every single game...and I monitor my three fantasy teams.....to me going to the game sucks....freeze your balls off, fight with traffic, and miss the rest of the football sunday driving home
Being home on the couch definitely has its benefits, but to me there is nothing like being there live. I've had season tickets for over 15 years and have been going to games since the 70s so there were definitely some stinkers in there where I questioned my sanity, but to be part of some of the greatest games ever (for a Jets fan) IMO is awesome. Some of the recent memories are the Miracle at the Meadowlands, beating the Pack when the Dolphins choked, the Jags and Colts playoff games. Sometimes there is just an electricity in the stadium that you just can't experience at home. I also love the views from being there that you can't see with the camera angles at home. You could really see plays developing, and read what the players are reading, it's just awesome. Anyway, IMO both are great and I'm getting pumped up just typing this....
since moving to CA two years ago I had to give up my season tickets that we had for over 12 years. I too have seen some of the wildest games (and fights those years when we were really bad - sometimes you go went to the fights and watch the game in the mean time) imaginable and there is nothing like being there in person. You just don't get the same feel being there in a visitor's stadium. I will be in town for the Raiders game so I am pshched for that. The last game i went to in Jersey was against the Steelers when it was snowing like crazy. I hope it isn't snowing this year because I am sure my blood has thinned by now. Games are the thing that I absolutely miss the most. The NFL Sunday Ticket helps though.
