    Edwards' unsettled contract situation is the only reason that I say good and not great--Stuckey, Trusnik and the picks would be a lot to give up if this ends up as a one year experiment followed by a costly holdout.

    Still, this improves the offense so much. Even if Edwards does nothing his mere presence is going to make life easier for Cotchery, Keller and the running game.

    I give the Jets credit for rolling the dice on this deal. The only draw back I see for you guys is if he is only there for the remainder of this season. If so, that becomes a pretty steep rental price.

    We gave up a 2nd rounder for Justin Mceirns under Bradway. I believe we gave up a 2nd or the equivalent for Doug Jolley under Bradway. I'm OK with this trade.

    That list is useless without taking into account when they signed their contracts. That is the major determining factor in the discrepancies in salaries between similarly skilled backs.
