"headcase" I don't call someone who drives his car at 120 a headcase. I call it using what the car can do.
After hearing Rex, Tannenbaum and Edwards talk today I feel better about the trade. I still think we could have got him for less, but if he has the type of impact Rex believes he will it will be worth it.
Seems like a lot to give up for a guy thats only signed thru this season. Plus I don't see how now having a decent QB is gonna help him not drop the ball. Getting hit in the hands is getting hit in the hands. If it works out though it's obviously a brilliant move for you guys. You just better hope he signs a new deal or even a productive year (12 games in reality) isn't worth it. IMHO
Sanchez throws a very tight spiral which equals an extremely catchable ball compared to a Derek Anderson or Kellen Clemens.
Im sure Tanny knows what he's doing. The trade probably has a clause where we send nothing to the Browns if we can't extend Braylons contract...don't u think so? Unless of course you are Al Davis
He's an NFL receiver so you would think he would catch just about anything that hits his hands. I hear what your saying though and I don't see him dropping as many balls now. The question still remains about his contract though. On the plus side contract year players tend to step up big time, I guess we'll see.
Agreed, I think we were fine without him......he's trouble, and while I don't mind Chansi, and Trusnik I would like to see a period where we start stockpiling our draft picks instead of gambling them away for the present.....Depth can be a great thing.........
wonder how long its going to take mangini to trade Shaun Rogers to us..........at this rate i'd say by the middle of next week.
I don't know you would think they have something in there about him resigning. I kind of doubt it's a case of 'nothing' if he doesn't sign. In that case Al would be on the Browns side of the deal. You can bet if Edwards has a good run this year he is gonna test the open market and if he's horrible......well obviously thats not good for you either. So it's kind of a lose lose as far as that goes.
If thats true then I stand corrected and it makes this trade look a lot better on your end. In fact it makes it a no brainer Yeah I just looked it up and your 100% right, I had bad info. So yeah good trade and now I'm pissed my Fins didn't step up. Mangini could have burned the Pats and Jets at the same time what a dick! I'm half kidding because there is no way Parcells would have this guy on the team.
another great job by the regulars of posting 20 posts worth of useless wise ass comments. i am sure somewhere in this thread there are actual informative posts to go with what now has a poll and could have been a decent thread. but instead of just letting the excess threads die everyone has to think they are funny and bumping the thread up again. i am bumping it because this could be a decent poll thread.
He admitted to having concentration and focus issues playing in Cleveland and he's gonna work really hard to make sure this fresh start is the last one he'll ever need. I know it's just words but he sounded like a professional who's ready to win
we all know that at least 2 of the people who think this trade is awful are the jerks from draft, stupidly shaking their heads after drafting sanchez... fools
