The Jets are on NFL Network live tomorrow and ESPN next Sunday night. After that, its find a bar for you. BTW, if your apartment does not allow, Directv will wave the rule and let you pay for Internet access to Sunday ticket w/o the dish. Yeap, new rule from 2 years ago
For years i had to hit the local bars and be the only JETS fan. But for the last 2 years I have had directv and I'm a happy camper. You need to move son
If you're in DC, definitely check out 'The 51st State,' which is an all NY sports bar. If you're in northern Virginia, I'd recommend 'Mister Days' which plays every NFL game (have over 100 tvs)
If you dont have DirecTV you need to hit a sports bar for the games if you dont live in the tri-state area. I think DirecTV's contract with the NFL is up next season so most cable service providers will have Sunday Ticket next season I think.
I don't live out of state, but can't you find a bar in almost any town that has DirecTV that will put all the games on?
Yeah probably, I just prefer not to deal with all the random fans and games in bars are usually on mute. Thanks a ton for all of the responses everyone, will have to look into potentially getting online access to sunday ticket. That+laptop+hdmi cord=
I get Sunday Ticket without DirecTV ( my home location can't get a good angle to hit the satellite). Last year, they made it available through Sony Playstation 3 market. There was some fine print about not being able to get DirecTv. But I purchased it through the PS3 and streamed it there. It works great -- HD quality, and the app is amazing for all the games, switching around, etc. I'm assuming they're going to do it again this year like that.
Applebees has the ticket and they give you a lil box that you can set to whatever your watching and hear the game. They usually got decent deals to. Id imagine every applebees is the same so thats a good nation wide answer, just get there early and claim your spot.
You can get the NFL ticket on Playstation 3, I heard that it freezes sometimes, but it is an option. You should also check in your area to see if there are any sports bars that host a Jets Fan Club.
Last year, PS3 was the only legal streaming option outside of the DirecTV app that comes to a DirecTV subscriber. Hope they do it again. Starting to wonder -- this is about the time they offered it last year, or maybe about a week from now. I think they do a lot of thinking about the price.
I'm outside of the US so I pony up and pay for full season gamepass through NFL.com. Works out about $230 but it is the whole season for every game. I just connect my laptop to my HD TV and it's all good
I watch the game at home or go to a sports bar and get some wings. I live in Florida, so I can wear my Jets swag freely. I get some light heckling but nothing more than that.
Depends on where you live. As I sometimes go to NFL Network to see the Sunday Drive thing in order to keep up with things as I live in a Titans country network or go to NFL.com from time to time.
we have a great family sports cafe here in Myrtle Beach, but it ends up being expensive in food to occupy a table for 3-4 hours. usually go to 2 games there a year with the family. since the jets have been good the last few years,we get 4 or 5 non primetime televised here. For the others i wait for someone here to put up a stream.
oh god, i never even thought about what would happen if i go to college in boston (im applying to 3 schools there). i would easily, EASILY play 200$ for sunday ticket if that was the case
