The sad thing about, is that this is Belichicken's modus operandi. Despite all the BS rhetoric that talks about his respect and love for the game, everything this guy does is an attempt to exploit and manipulate every potential loophole or rule change to HIS team's benefit, without regard to the league. Whether it was rules changes about hitting the QB (after Brady went down), QBs being able to handle the balls (Deflategate), DB rules (after they changed after his team mugged the Colts in the AFC championship, Belichicken devalued the CB position and started adding more spread/TE formations) and now the extra point (Gotkowski advantage), nothing Belichicken proposes is "good for the league" but is "good for the Patriots." There is a reason that everything this guy does draws scrutiny from the NFL, team execs and coaches. There is also a reason that people don't care in the league that his team got fried for Deflategate...whether it was justified or not - the thought is he paid for something he cheated on but didn't get caught for.
