Is it true what Abyzmul said about you? That you are a pats fan masquerading as a jet fan. I know what the set is designed to do, I have seen your Patriots run it for a long time, and they were schooled by the Giants with their 4 man pass rush. So I guess those offensive line men did not belong in the NFL. Have you watched the 2 preseason games the jets have played? Against the starting defenses, the 5 WR set has not been good, with the slant to Marshall being the only play that is successful. Everything else has been terrible.

Yes ........ Starters are not gonna play full throttle in a pre season game and risk injury.Teams are not gameplanning for each other in the pre season ,the plays called are normally as vanilla as it gets.Lions went 4-0 in the pre season and 0-16 in the regular season....Not to mention the Patriots going 0-4 then going 16-0.The preseason is more about the rookies then anything else

Just no major injuries.. I don't care if we win or not, just come out of the game in the same shape we went in. The last guy that put too much importance on the Snoopy Bowl cost us the starting Qb.
These games are so meaningless and have absolutely no bearing on how the team plays in weeks 1-16. Would rather have them get routed and have no injuries than to win and lose key players.

if Sanchez was the starter, he would've started that game. he was a backup, and was surely getting cut after the season. the organization as a whole had moved on from him (as did 90% of our fans).. the injury was unfortunate, but it cost us nothing. btw, Coughlin pushed the game to OT, which is pretty classless imo........but this game does have a little more juice than the normal preseason game. i don't care so much about the W/L, but i want our starters to beat theirs.
No injuries, the rest is meaningless. However if the defense sucks as bad as they did the first two weeks you better start worrying. If they haven't figured it out by now they certainly won't by the first game that counts.
