    I say, why not?

Let's be honest here. We don't have very good depth at wide receiver right now. Holmes is injured and will hopefully return soon, Hill can turn into something great, but still has lots of work to go, and Schillens will probably get cut. Turner looks pretty good, but what could it hurt to add some more depth to the group? Yeah the guy is old and may be waged up, but by the looks of it, Edwards seemed to be pretty washed up considering no team signed him until recently, yet everyone here wanted him. Chad Johnson has a lot of issues that need to be addressed, but Sparano is the guy for that. He is awesome at calming down NFL ego's. If Johnson turns his shit around, he could be something good for us. I say, take the risk. He's gonna have to succumb to a small amount of money, so take the chance. We need receivers.

I say yes. Let Pats sign Plax. We sign Chad then we can say we got one off Pats for once.

I don't entirely disagree. When he was with the Patriots last year, he couldn't handle the complex offense. I'm not sure this makes him washed up. Don't know that learning the Jets system would be enough easier to make a difference.

While he was with the Patriots, there wasn't too much media circus.

I wouldn't particularly recommend him unless a team is truly desperate. If a team is desperate, he might be brought in for training camp to see if the fit works. I don't see the Jets as being that desperate. As others have said, you have enough other distractions.

I say no, but our publicity hungry owner would love that type of attention.
Imagine Tebow and ocho on the same team, espn just jizzed.

But Ocho does have info on the Pats and gay sharks...

Chad has no info on the Pats. He couldn't figure out where to even be on the field. I don't think he'd be giving up any secrets.

The opportunity for more media circus? I can't see how the Jets could possibly pass on him. Probably be a Jet by the end of the week.

I would rather have Plax than Ocho. Plax did have 8 td's and 600 yards for us last season. He is great in the red zone. If we could get either I would take Plax back.

Hell no but I would take a look at Lee Evans who was released by the Jaguars. It couldn't hurt.

Think of the wealth of knowledge he'd give us on the Pats:

"When that big guy lines up over there, no wait, wait, wait, oh yeah, no wait, when the small guy lines up back there, i mean over here, the guy...um..oh yeah Brady will toss the ball over here, I mean.....over there. Yeah....definitely over there. I think. I'm not certain. My wife just concussed me like 6 hrs ago for Christ sake".
