Dude, you couldn't reason your way out of a paper bag. Those aren't the same things at all. If you can't see that, then I suggest you take up another sport, because football isn't your game.
Nothing we’ve seen today matches with what the coaches are saying. Mims looks pretty low in the pecking order here.
Unfortunately I think your right. I will say, the kid has looked good today. There is no way I would cut him. All we are is an injury to a wideout away from being dog shit again
I wouldn’t put much stock into some of these things. I saw Huff playing well into the 4th quarter. Is he on the bubble? No I don’t think so.
They may not believe the food poisoning story Losing 5 pounds? Sure Losing 10 pounds? Ok Losing 20 pounds? Unless the food was poisoned with arsenic, sounds shady as hell
Exactly! Some posters look too hard for things with their "reading between the lines." IMO it's BS. They're just projecting their own negative thoughts. Saleh said in the post game presser that he was really happy for Mims, and that Mims is still playing catch up learning the offense. If he doesn't know the offense yet, he isn't gonna be with the 1st string or 2nd string. We have really good WRs this year. Mims is not in trouble and not on the roster bubble. I wish posters would just stop with that nonsense!
I really hope Mims makes it. I’m rooting for him. He has the size and make up but has also had some bad luck in his rookie year between injuries, a scaled down training camp , and horrible coaching. Imagine this WR core with a solid contribution from Mims....
Well I think that if you can play well enough in the second half to earn more PT early next week, Mims probably did that. Looking forward to seeing him play with a bit of a chip.
I remember when our WR corps consisted of the Terrelle Pryors and Deontay Burnetts of the world how people were banging their drums about drafting and bringing in dozens of free agent WR's. Now that we have actually brought in some talented WR depth, some posters seem to be in a tremendous hurry to get rid of it.
