The Cowboys, despite committing over a 100 yards in penalties, ran more than TWICE as many offensive plays as the patsies. The Jets, meanwhile, can't generate offensive rhythm, to go anything more than 3 and out. So there's no way the Jets could be capable of doing what the Cowboys did...
They said at the time that it happened that they feared it was something very serious but within a day they said it was just a stinger....
Still, have you heard his name mentioned at all since then? He should have returned to practicing and as far as I can tell, is still on IR and is not practicing. Don't you find that odd?
He was placed on the PUP list but not the season ending kind. I think he's eligible to come back after week 7?
If his status had changed ie because his injury was so serious and had to retire, you and I would have seen something in the NY media about him hanging it up. That didn't happen and like I already said I believe the last I heard as they placed him on the PUP list...
All 12 personnel plays should be put in the paper shredder (or deleted from the HDD). Stick to 11 personnel. Put Davis, Moore, and Crowder on the field. Can also put Davis, Moore, and Mims out there as well. Instead of trying to attack the defenses weaknesses right away, get Zach and O in a rhythm with some quick hitters.
OK, thanks. I sure hope that you're right that he's OK and will be back. I have hopes that he could replace GVR and play at a much higher level once he gets acclimated.
I might be wrong but I don't think Cam Clark is eligible to return off IR this year. What I have read is that only players placed on IR after September 1st are eligible to return this year. They have to be on the active roster one day after final cuts like we did with Davis and McDermott. Since we placed Clark on IR on 8/17 then he would not be eligible to return in 2021.
and Thanks. I decided to look on the Jets roster. It lists Clark on IR, not PUP. I think Noam must be correct. I looked at the PS, and was surprised to see both Ross Pierschbacher (who was a decent OL at Alabama 2 years ago) and Dru Samia (who was a pretty good OG at Oklahoma 3 years ago) are on our PS now. I don't know how long they've been there, but if they can't replace GVR, then they must not be very good.
This article here confirms that Cam Clark is not eligible to return this year. https://thejetpress.com/posts/ny-jets-cameron-clark-roster-cuts The positive is GVR did get better at the end of last season. Hopefully, he will get less awful as the season goes on. Better play by Zach, the WRs and the RBs will make it easier on the line as well. I doubt GVR can play worse.
I am watching TNF Does Pat Shermer have a Clone? He just helped Bridgewater get back in game with TD Thats what the Jets need a Seasoned Offensive Coordinator not some Rookie where Posters here can come up with better plays
And there we have it. Posters thinking they are better than NFL coaches. When was the last time the Jets had an OC or a HC for that matter that the collective thought was good. The idiotic negative posts on a coaching staff and QB that is 5 weeks in is absurd. I know it is just the loud minority but it is relentless. The same posters over and over how bad the coaching staff is how bad the QB is. None of it is true. No, none of you on this board can run a better offense or defense or is a better GM than what the Jets currently have.
