I'm giving Sanchez two years. He progressed this year stat wise but if he is near this inconsistent next year he needs to go/lose the starting job.

Yes, Balt and SF have had success this year. I'd like to see one of them seal the deal with a Super Bowl, and not fall short like the Jets (and Ravens) have done in the past.

It's fair to say that Flacco and Smith are not the strengths of those teams, similar to how i see Sanchez with the Jets.

Defense has played great in recent weeks for the Giants. However, they do have a very good QB in Manning.
For that reason, i think the Jets blueprint in future years with Sanchez would more resemble Balt and SF of this year.

You are the most amazing Troll I've ever witnessed.

You've taken trolling to an artform. Congrats. The amount of people who you upset and take you seriously is overwhelming.

Not even close. I have seen people turn trolling into an art form. It is far better than that guy can come up with. Persistent one-trick-ponies are a dime a dozen. That is what you replied to.

WhyTF was Mark Brunnell here the last 2 years?...if his role was to mentor Sanchez, he did an awful job...His expertise in mentoring is equal to his financial skills..Sanchez regressed and seems to be lost on the field and in the locker room...

S'cool, I was stoned righteously. I even started a thread about trading for a guy that's a free agent.

Jetsown22 could be a bot for all we know. About a dozen sentences repeated ad nauseum with the adjectives switched around here and there.

    This is a fair question.

He's even left-handed which makes him a terrible backup for a right-handed QB since everything flips when he has to come in.

    LMAO!!!

You never stop coming up with excuses for Sanchez. Who knew that left handed Qb's cannot work with right handed ones? Really, don't you think Tanny should be fired for this alone?

"Everyone in the NFL knows a left handed Qb cannot back up a right handed one!"

    Too funny.

A 41 year old left-handed QB as the only backup option? Really?

I guess they thought they'd just switch D'Brick over to the right side to cover Brunell's blind spot if they had to actually use him for any significant period of time. Do you really think the Jet's backup QB spot was adequately addressed this season?

Of course I didn't, but it's not because Brunell is left handed. Heh.
