You might see only plain vanilla tonight.

I don't think Rex would do that. Mangini - definitely.

That's pretty much what I'm expecting. I just want to see what kind of pressure we put on the opposing QB when rushing 4 and how it differs from Mangini's system. Most importantly I want to see Westerman, Murrell, and Renkart. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Emmanuel Cook in action. Basically, as plain vanilla as the D plays/schemes will be, I want to see this team come out with attitude. I want to see this D hitting hard, picking passes off, and causing TO's on impact.

Not sure how I forgot my boy Westerman, i am looking forward to seeing him. I don't think a new head coach is going to give us plain vanilla, he wants to see how everyone is doing in his system, in live competition. i expect a lot of complex looks.

I'm looking for a good drink special and fast women.

Plus I'd like to see essentially the 2nd string offensive line against St. Louis starting defense. Maybe the lack of depth isn't as bad as we think.

Well you need a comparator. All we have is a couple weeks of training camp against his own team in non-game situations, and most of us have not even seen him in that setting.

I'm sure they'll show do some of that here and there, but I don't expect him to go crazy and unload the defensive playbook on the first game of pre-season. I wouldn't be surprised if on the 1st defensive play, Rex goes for an all-out blitz. Just to send a message to the fans and the league that these aren't the same ol' Jets.

Ah, makes sense. In this case I think he was just assuming that he's just a rookie who needs to 'mature', but I see your point.

I will be looking at Sanchez first to see if he has command of this offense
Secondly I will look at Gholston to see if he's really made any progress or is still dancing with offensive lineman.
Next I will be looking at Jamal Westerman, Jehuu Caulcrick, Britt Davis and Jack Simmons to see if any are players and will be ready to contribute.

So are the Rams the only team in the NFL with a even lesser known receivers than us?

Well Harris already answered my question about explosion. Looked very explosive on that sack.
