i get that for sure, but a guy like tate or humpries are both young and can be here for a few years going forward. trading a 4th rounder or so for a guy like that makes sense. as it stands now we are going to have to draft a WR anyway and a guy like humpries or tate (who would be free BTW we can just sign him) is better then drafting the next hansen or stweart or smith. mac used a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 4th on WRs and none of them have stuck. all 3 are pretty much out of the NFL at this point. I'd gladly give up a 4th for humpries or parker. I agree about not doing it for an older guy like DT though. next year we only have anderson. kearse is a FA and 30, pryor is gone already, enunwa is a FA and young but hasn't been able to stay healthy for us so can't be relied upon. we need to add 2 WRs in the offseason regardless. why not land one now we cna keep for years?

To be fair, if Kearse and Anderson were performing like last year and Q and Pryor were healthy it wouldnt be that big of an issue, but I agree that they need one premier WR, which in turn would make Q even more valuable..... Also, I think some of the WRs will look better as Darnold grows into the pro game

to be fair anderson is getting open deep a lot. we just arne't connecting as much as we could. darnold missed him by 2 feet sunday on another 70+ TD and underthrew him badly on a would be 40+ yard TD too. anderson could easily have had 2-3 long TDs every game this season if we didn't miss as many deep shots

Surprised, they we're actively shopping Sanders this preseason.
He's having a good season though.
Can't see why teams are interested in Thomas. Big contract and playing pretty poorly

Yep, Darnold has missed at least 4 off the top of my head deep shots to Anderson that would of been touchdowns. (Cleveland, Jax, and 2 yesterday). Im sure the chemistry will come with time but Robbie is definitely getting open deep this year. Don’t let his lack of numbers fool you.

they like him better then DT and to be fair I think sanders is a much better WR then DT and has been for years. sanders was another swing and a hit from Pitt who just seem to always find great WRs in the draft easily.

exactly. anderson is the only WR we have right now healthy and doing his job. not has fault if the ball isn't getting to him and as much as i hated his dumb penalty, at least he shows some fire that he cares and is frustrated with the offense. he could be a leader of this team if he grows up and be with sam for a long time. of course though it was adams trying to calm him down after that. oh and not to mention he could have had a TD if the DB didn't kick out his legs and get away with an "accidental contact" it sure looked to me in the replay that he was tripping and kicked out robbies legs from under him

Classic Jerry! This is the reason Dallas hasn't won anything in the last two decades

Not that I want to defend every Darnold criticism but it was so windy yesterday, hot coals were blown into cars and started fires.

Did we not see the kicks wobbling around like Star Wars tie fighters amidst battle?

I’m surprised they were taking deep shots. That,to me, is a real indication they believe in Sam.

    Isn’t the answer obvious?

So whats the deal with Pryor? Reports are, he's close to being healthy. Why did Mac cut him then? Is our GM that dumb? Especially if he's healthy?

well...... I was shocked when he was cut initially. I'm guessin there's something going on behind the scenes

If Pryor signs with another team and plays this weekend, Macc deserves a TON of criticism. I don't care what your feelings are on Pryor, if you can watch that game we played last week and tell me that Pryor is a JAG the sucks and wouldn't make a difference, you might wanna take up a new sport. Only acceptable explanation is that he's being a dick behind the scenes but considering Bowles flat out said when he's healthy, we'll see what happens... I doubt it.

He could be stretching the truth about his health to get signed quicker. Could be locker room issues or could be Mac fucked up or any combination of that

He's a Jekyll and Hyde then. I thought he was actually being a good teammate at one point. Solid points.
