I honestly think we would take the compensation from the SKins deal and trade it to the Saints for #2 overall...JMO

As I posted earlier, according to the DVC, we'd have to put in a #3 to make it work. We'll probably get a comp. 3 from the Raiders for Lamont which isn't too far from our pick, so it wouldn't be such a big deal. Also it would have to be our 2nd, not the Skins.

I doubt that any team would give use 2 picks let alone a 1st and 2nd + a QB. If this is true this would be the most compensation we would recieve for abe

well it says on rotoworld that that guy Todd Collins the skins signed today is going to be the 3rd stringer, so i'm assuming campbell is either 1st or 2nd and brunell is the other, and it also says "skins turning attention to abraham" and i do know that the redskins organization hosted him last nite. i dont kno why though, its not like he has a choice as to where he goes

I would steer a little away from that because the 1st rounder next year is an unknown. You have to hedge your bets. If by some fluke the Redskins auger in next year to a 5 and 11 record or something like that, the first round pick becomes the deal of the century.

There haven't been many reasons to be on here lately! I guess that's why my board is a bit slow. Nothing drastic, but there is a difference

I agree with the comment someone made about next years 1st being more valuable because tanngini will have had a year experience working together, and have a better idea on the direction they need to focus on

Yes he does, if he doesn't sign the tender, the Jets can't trade him. And I'm sure the team he's dealt to will require a deal be in place before any move is made, no reason to deal away anything serious if it's for a one year rental.

    exactly.

after signing Ty Law, weren't we pre-season favorites to make a Superbowl run this past year?

    cheers

    haha, true.

but i also remember seeing that question posed on numerous sports shows like Around the Horn, Sportscenter, etc.

the point is, the R1 pick could be a major steal depsite how great that team currently appears on paper.

    cheers
