That is crazy, but I don't think you should mention it. No one can predict this stuff, there's no avoiding it...

probably correct, yeah. If the Yankees had beaten the Tigers, a lot of things would have changed...

Mike and the Mad Dog interviewing someone who's explaining why that route he took is a tricky flight, but people like it because it's scenic.

Lidle and flight instructor on board.

no black box. On the airliners, they do, but not on private planes, apparently.

    No voice recording or anything.

I guess they got in touch with his family, because Steinbrenner just officially made the announcement that Lidle was piloting the plane.

"This is a terrible and shocking tragedy that has stunned the entire Yankees organization. I offer my deep condolences and prayers to his wife, Melanie, and son, Christopher, on their enormous loss."
    -George Steinbrenner

"I am deeply saddened by this tragic event and I ask everyone to keep Cory, his family and all those affected by this tragedy in your prayers."
    -Brian Cashman

    Both are on Yankees.com

Not to pile on or anything, if that's your attitude, I wish you were in the apartment. He had family and kids, you know.

Mike and Chris had some real good guests on while coming home from work. He's not quite the ass he appeared to be during that interview the other day.

he was not a bad guy, it's just that he had a tendency to be outspoken. His words tended to get him in trouble.
