no black box. On the airliners, they do, but not on private planes, apparently. No voice recording or anything.
I guess they got in touch with his family, because Steinbrenner just officially made the announcement that Lidle was piloting the plane.

Not to pile on or anything, if that's your attitude, I wish you were in the apartment. He had family and kids, you know. Mike and Chris had some real good guests on while coming home from work. He's not quite the ass he appeared to be during that interview the other day.
he was not a bad guy, it's just that he had a tendency to be outspoken. His words tended to get him in trouble.
