    No he isn't.

The consensus among most of the experts is that Winston is the better of the two.

Jamies Winston is going to be a very good player.

Not every draft has a QB as good as him available.

Mariota has a lot of question marks.

A good Guard/RT & an outside speed rusher would be the 2 rookie positions that would probably have the most immediate impact on this team + provide building blocks for future.

Watch how much better this offense would be with an improved O-line (and no, I'm not a Geno Smith fan)
Anyone think Thomas Jones magically became good when he got here... then magically decline afterwards. The JETS O-line was the best in the league

I watched plenty f football probably much more than you. I also watched a ton of Oregon football game both before Mariota an during. He is not the answer and just because we have a high pick does not mean we should waste it on that guy. Maybe you didn't see his pro day. No pass rush, no pads, no stadium noise and no cornerbacks and he laid an egg. He is dropping out of the top 10

David Johnson is an excellent pick.

Wilson wasn't even Wilson till he got drafted in the 3rd round. How bout 1 specific thing like winning against Ohio St. We don't need studs we need a winner. Winston is the best QB bar none and that is why he is going first. He is a winner only losing ONE game in two years. Freshman Heisman winner and freshman National Championship winner. Mariota does not handle the pass rush well and I don't think he has the make up for New York. He needs to be somewhere with a slower pace.

Yes, Winston is the better prospect, but that's only because he's more "pro ready" than Mariota... Winston has become severly overrated by the media during this process. He's a good prospect, but his decision making and field vision are all HUGE question marks. He struggles to identify underneath coverage and this was clearly shown suring the Gators game. He struggles throwing balls in the seams as well. And he also has a bevy of issues off the field, Winston is no sure thing to be a good Quarterback. Just like Mariota, Winston's probability of busting is EXTREMELY high and anyone denying this is either a Mariota "hater" or FSU fan.

Remember Teddy's last year? Much worse and he's the best QB in his class.. Pro Days are to be taken with a grain of salt.

Watch the game Mariota played vs his big rivals Oregon st and then we can discuss him.

    Couldn't disagree more lol

Winston has a slow release and isn't a fraction of the athlete Mariota is.

I guarantee that Mariota will have the better career when it's all said and done.

The major issues with Winston is that he turns the ball over way too much and his release is slow. I find he forces the ball far to often and if he does that at the pro level he will have a short career.

Mariota takes care of the ball better than any prospect at QB I have ever seen plain and simple. His athletic ability and football IQ trounces Winston's

Did you ever read that article comparing Hundley, Winston and Mariota? It doesn't sound like it. Mariota is more accurate than Winston in a lot of categories.

Well we will see but I highly doubt it. I see some butt fumbles in Mariota future.

I got a better game to watch. Watch Mariota against Utah and their ferocious pass rush. MM didn't handle it well at all. Then watch the chamionship game against Ohio St. That is all you need.

Winston is one of the smartest QB's to ever come out. Not this year or recent years, ever. People who've spoken with him on it compare him to Manning, football IQ wise. Please show me one thing, just one, that paints Mariota in the same light. Kellen Moore 2.0
