Sunday's forecast is showing light showers. Anything short of a monsoon actually benefits the passing game because it makes it more difficult for the DBs to keep coverage on the receivers. Jets need to air it out this week. I understand they need to limit Sanchez's involvement until he's got a better handle on things, but this is one game where the Jets really need him to step up.
finally the who called it mystery is done with that was really annoying. it was a dumb risk up 14 that deep in our own zone but that is probably why it worked so well. nobody was thinking fake on that play.
I think its a blessing to have a kicker that has "peripheral vision" like weatherford does. He will be a major clutch factor later in the season. Plus he also has a toughness and a courageous factor to him. Sort of like Jay feeley who will run down and tackle the crap out of you. Leon was never the same though once they banned the wedge, hopefully Justin miller has fun in the more open field looks and gives us an advantage in this dolphins game.
It was the first "fake" punt in the Miami game. And I absolutely 100% agree with you. I feel like his attitude to call his own number will come back and haunt us during a critical play later in the season. Let's hope Westoff talks to him
i knew weatherford called that. even against the raiders you don't fake from your own 10. looked like he fumbled the ball a bit when he tried to kick it, why he lost his holding duties.
