once again, you're looking at 3rd string bullshit, and McIntyre is more of a complete player.

Way to dismiss everything I said to make a case against the 53rd guy on the roster. That means nothing.

And your 2nd sentence. That happens after every loss, so what's the point?

And this is precisely my point. I do think Sanchez has looked better this year, but the OL has gotten a lot worse.

The defense will be fine. Oakland probably has the most pure speed in the NFL. Will the defense be elite enough where it can carry us to the Super Bowl? No. It'll be similar to what it was the last year: very good, but still shaky at times (at New England, Pittsburgh in the playoffs, Chicago).

And I worry that the offense is good enough to get us over the top. It wasn't good enough the last two seasons, and when the defense lapses, we're in a lot of trouble.

The offensive line is really my biggest issue. Oakland dominated Denver up front. I didn't see much of the game against Buffalo, but they dominated us up front, too. It will look better when Mangold is back, but Mangold played vs Dallas, too, and Sanchez had to get concussion tests after the game he got knocked around so much.

the jets should of quit when they lost 45-3 last year.

besides sanchez still throwing moronic passes in the air, he looks ALOT better. sanchez's oline is dick, and he is all over the place making plays.

judging a 2-1 team by week 3 to not be good enough is insane.

Yeah it is, but that was a sloppy game that just shouldn't have gone that way.

A cleaner game that resulted in a loss due to being outplayed, and I know I wouldn't be up in arms like I am.

Hue Jackson outcoached the Jets today too.

LOL at you wanting Aaron fucking Maybin.

Learn football, you clearly don't know anything.

So, 2 yrs here and all the good he has done is suddenly forgotten after one bad game? Right, Rex clearly has all of a sudden forgotten how to coach, and you obviously can evaluate talent much better.

    Again, it's Week 3.

If we're still playing sloppy, uninspired football at midseason, then people can start saying we're not a great a team.

Oakland is a very underrated team with a top tier front seven and one of the best backs in the league. Fans on this board just assume the Raiders have no talent because of Al Davis. That's not true anymore.

My concern is that we are deliberatly going away from what made us good the last 2 years. Agressive defense and powerful run game. Am i seeing that wrong?

Is there a little knee-jerk involved? Sure. But I came away last week unimpressed by the team. When I sat back and thought about the game, it was more the other quarterback being horrible and us taking advantage. Jacksonville mailed it in.

There's still plenty of time for this team to improve. As many people have said, it's only week 3. But when you have New England in the division, you can't afford many losses. Sure, they lost today, but does anyone think they'll lose more than 4-5 games? I doubt it.

I want this team to win a Super Bowl. I have high expectations for this season. Coming from that perspective, I've been disappointed in the team I've seen so far.

And I know Oakland is good. They have a very good defensive front, and a ton of speed on both offense and defense. But we should still beat this team, and it doesn't give me much confidence for the next 2 weeks.

It may be "Week 3" but you can't fucking lose games vs. teams that you're better than - especially when your on the road for the next two weeks vs. 2 of the best teams in the AFC.

When we're 2-3, its not just going to be "Week 6"...

Can't run the ball, control the clock, and get a lead. That equals to the defense not being able to sell out and blitz the shit out of the opposing offense, which doesn't create the momentum the Jets need to win their kind of games.

The OL is the focal point of all of the issues. If it doesn't get fixed, the Jets are going to be in trouble until the bye, and then its catchup time.

I'm a clown because I think cutting Maybin for Garret "Invisible" "McIntyre was a bad move?

Well guess what after what Maybin did in the preseason and us not having a legit pass rusher for god knows how long he was an interesting candidate to try to develop him into a situation pass rusher at the very least. He looked better then Westerman and McIntyre have looked.
