No, he was right. If Allen was a Jet, it would have been a nightmare. His career may be over by now. He landed it a perfect spot and the GM and Coach built a great team around him while also teaching and coaching him to improve and succeed. If you flipped the guys, Sam is likely succeeding in Buffalo while the Jets are looking for a new QB in the 2021 draft.

Yeah pretty much. It's too bad we can't look into alternate universes to see which QBs could have flourished in the right situations. Too many players are written off as busts when they were just drafted by dumb teams that couldn't get out of their own way. The Jets are definitely one of those teams.

Looking at him from this POV was very Missouri- the show me state. For me he has been largely disappointing cos he has stretches, long stretches, 3-4 gamne stretches where he looks like an overwhelmed b/u. That has never corrected. So he's a massive bust. The worst starting QB over the 3 yrs he has started. End of. If he had all that talent he'd still be a top QB, LOOK LIKE A TOP QB, like Watson is in Texas despite the team being garbage and going 4-12.
