The NY Jets may have drafted a psychopath in Micheal Clemons https://thejetpress.com/posts/ny-jets-drafted-psychopath-micheal-clemons?utm_source=google-newsstand&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=google-newsstand
Thanks for the link. IDK if Clemons will achieve (or exceed) his potential, but this is the type of guy the Jets have needed for a long time. In very loose terms, a Jets version of Lawrence Taylor - and hopefully will a better outcome to his life after football. And I hope he doesn't get sidetracked the way Taylor did, but if he can remain focused on playing with that dangerous, but controlled, edge, he might wind up being the steal of the draft.
I was very impressed, and admittedly surprised, watching his interviews. He's got a quiet confidence like no other, and handled the press conference as if he's been doing these his entire life. The way he thinks out and contemplates each question. Unusual. Frankly, I don't see how he doesn't make an impact.
I think you gonna find, when all this shit is over and done, I think you’re gonna find yourself one smilin’ motherfucker
If this guy is even remotely good, he's going to be a star amongst Jets fans. He seems smart, well spoken and a little scary. I was very impressed with his interview after he was drafted.
There was a LB they drafted in the mid rounds a few years ago who was similarly touted. Might have been one of the infamous Idzik 12 year. He was said to be mean and play with a nasty streak and the coaches loved him. Ended up passed out in a car on a DUI I think. Can't remember his name or what happened after (other than he disappeared from the Jets pronto). Let's hope this guy lives up to billing. Personally I love to see opposing QBs get squashed.
Sorry officer, I should have said "projected potential". Would that have enabled you to grasp my meaning?
