Not worried about it. All TEs get concussions regularly, it's just a question of the severity. I don't think he will want to come out of games, he seems to be really fired up and ready to take the league by storm.
That's fair to say, he should be out there catching passes more often not blocking. There are always ways to improve the football team, so we should not be content with the 6th rushing rank, I want to be #1 in everything. Amaro regardless should have an impact early with the Jets. Nice link Look at Julius Thomas - pretty good efficiency when blocking Peyton, I wouldn't mind a player that can do both in that mold, he doesn't block a lot but when he does he's helpful.
That house fuckin erupted when they called his name!! Hell yeah man! This is gonna be fun! Potentially the new non injury prone gronkowski on our roster!
People that underrate his blocking will be in for a big surprise. Dude is strong, tough as nails and could block. The system did not allow him to show that but you see from the little highlights that he has the ability to block. http://draftbreakdown.com/players/jace-amaro/
We will see, personally I didn't want Ebron or ASJ because of their noted attitude problems. Both have elite athlete potential, but both have significantly more bust potential than Amaro. If they both bust, we did get a steal.
Tech never runs the ball ,Ever. I think with his size ,he will be a fine blocker. he was their only weapon so he was moved to inside Wr all the time. I think with his size and strength,He will be fine blocking . This is guy is a weapon us Jet fans were begging for. I still think the Pats wanted him . I know their fans did.
Hope you guys are right. Amaro did put up 28 reps at the combine, so does show very good strength. If he shows aptitude for blocking at the NFL level, Jets offense is going to be fun to watch. ( lots of options for MM )
Joe Namath approves: @JoeNamath Jace Amaro has exceptional hands! The last time I said that was the 1st time I saw a Rookie from Hofstra in camp! @WayneChrebet #Jets
I despise when a player just drops the ball after they pass the goal line. He better not do that in a JETS uni. Make sure it is a TD first then do what ever you like with the ball.

Apparently he has signed now. Not that it's really a surprise with how rookie deals work under this CBA.
Amaro is a pretty cool guy, I'm sure Amaro is going to be a fan favorite very early on. He says he loves blocking down-field and during the screen game - I like the sound of that!
He comes across as a humble guy, which is nice to see. It suggests he'll be willing to put the work in and take to the coaching. Let's hope he can honor that particular jersey number in green and white.
