Yes, even though I’d been mocking Freeland to the Jets all off season(check the thread), I was willing to make a bet in hopes of winning and getting you to stop shitting on the Jets in every post. Lucky for me, you valued your love of shitting on the Jets over your confidence in making a bet.
You still predicted it and once again was wrong. And now wiggling your way out of it instead of simply manning up. Fool.
YOU are calling someone else dense? Now that's comedy. Just last night you said you predict we won't pick Tackle, and we picked one with the very next pick. It does not get much worse than that in terms of predictions. You were saying how we already have 5 tackles. Now you are showing some mocks from before where you contradicted ... yourself. lol
Do I get partial credit? I predicted this morning we would get an OT in response to some of the comments. JD is no ones fool. He was not going to over reach in round one and rightfully so, and hit on a couple of good pieces later. Keeping in mind all the criticism and mortal fear is because of a bad injury start to our LT. I hope Becton knocks it out of the park this year, as AVT.
Yes, you have trouble with basic English and following a timeline. Your love of shitting on the Jets cost you an opportunity to win something in a friendly wager.
JD did the best with what he had to work with after the pick swap and subsequent Pitts undercutting us for a top OL prospects. I think he regrets the swap, but he had a plan B, which was to draft OLine later, which he did with the next two picks. Warren is a sneaky good pick, maybe better than I originally thought, and I thought it was a good one to begin with. I wonder what JD was going to say at the presser about him. Warren is older and was injured, he never got tested athletically. Didn't showcase him in sr Bowl, where Wright propelled himself. Add good athletic testing for Wright, great sr Bowl, younger age, and he is a top 10 pick. Warren though had very similar production in College in 2021 and against good competition, and he did it at LT. He can give Max Mitchell run for his money, and who knows may even end up starting some games this year if Becton or Brown get hurt, which chances are will happen. That's where it is good to know his pass pro has always been good.
One more thing to add on this pick: JD actually traded back and still I believe got his guy, in the meantime recouping the 6th rounder - right ahead of the one he lost in the Robinson trade. Well executed.
