The Jets were full of hope and promise last season until the Tebow drive/TD. He will just take the boo's as a challenge to win them over by doing what he does best - winning games!
Such a pathetic argument. That's why the Cubs and Mets have been drowning in World Series titles with all their money? How about the Red Sox and their payroll that has gotten a total of 0 playoff wins in 3 years. Yankees will keep being a successful team even if there was a salary cap.
Are you fucking serious? You're going back to pee wee? That might be the dumbest statement I have ever read in my whole life.
This what sucks about Teblow. Maybe just maybe, they were booing D Wade who was sitting with him and the Heat just beat the Knicks? No but it has to be all about Tebow, all the time.
Jet fans booed Sanchez last year too, was there three threads on that? I guess the difference is we know Sanchez sucked and are only guessing Tebow will too.
It's not as skewed that way as it once was. Due to the mets and Giants winning in the 80s we have a ton of Met/Giant fans and I grew up a Jet/Yankee fan and we have more Jet/Yankee fans on this site than jets/Mets(I think we did a poll on this once). Those weren't Giant fans booing him, I know a bunch of jet fans that went to the game and they said they booed him too.
While the MLB is less competitive and fair than it could be because of a few big spenders, it's at least not a broken system a la NBA.
I actually was home schooled with tim tebow. Kids used to boo at him when we played trouble but he was a warrior of christ even then. He bowed his head and popped the dice with drive and determination. He's always been a winner which is why he was the fastest swimmer He's been amassing victories since he was a zygote.
I'm also one of the Yankees/Jets fans as well. I think the reason why Jets fans were booing Tebow because he brought his popularity and noise from Denver with him. Also, with his polarizing nature, the boos came in much stronger.
These idiots booed heavily booed Wade too... But then cheered him once he wore a Yankees cap... Such frauds.
We don't know he will suck on the Jets, no. Much better team than what he had last year and his role will much more limited.
So your hoping he fails? You can hate his throwing mechanics. You can hate his low completion percentage you can hate his anticipation you can hate his footwork in the pocket. You can't just make up stuff like the jets are doomed if he takes over based on aesthetics. He has always won as a starter. it's also embarrassing how you argue against yourself "16 games is not enough" yet you already decided he sucks.
