I don't want to hear rex talking about how opossing qbs need to be scared or whatever either. I still remember him saying opposing qbs were crying about the kyle Wilson pick.
Ding ding ding... Everybody shits on Sanchez yet the organization has done nothing to help him over the years. Instead we ignore the OL, we allow his RB's to walk and we allow his best WR to walk. 3 DL in a row in the 1st round and we still don't have a guy who can come off the edge and reak havoc. You wanna know why the Steelers win SB's? Because they get it. They know how to build a team. They steal DeCastro last year and they steal Jarvis Jones this year.
They said they were going BPA with their 1st round picks, and if this guy was their highest rated player, then I'm fine with the pick. If he pans out, we could have one of the best DLs in the NFL in a few years, and they are all young players. Let's see these guys on the field first, and lets all wait until the rest of the draft picks are used before we label this draft a success or a bust. If they didn't see an offensive player worth selecting, then I'm happy they passed. I'd rather have a good defensive player than reach for a TE or whatever just for the sake of picking offense
We will still need somewhat of a offense to beat the Pats. This piece of crap offense with a horrible QB, below average RB and WRs arent going to beat any good teams this year that actually know how to score.
yeah cos there are no offensive players in the 1st round of the draft that are better than our offensive players .....right?
Chargers took OL from AL DJ Fluker with the 11th pick. When Richardson played against Fluker he had 14 tackles and a sack. The guy has serious skills.
They do need a QB. You clearly don't understand 'value' though. Neither one of those players is worthy of a top 25 pick.
Everyone complaining we should have taken offense who would you have picked? No playmakers on offense have come off the board yet since our pick except Manuel and we weren't taking him at 15. We will still have lots of offensive game changers to choose from in round 2.
Warmack wasn't available ..... If we move to 4-3 and move coples to OLB this pick could turn out to be gold as we killed 2 bird with one stone.
Yet a DT that we dont even need is more "valuable"? How do you figure? This team already has Ellis, Wilkerson, Coples. Regardless of BPA, you really need to start filling your holes at some point.
Maybe a better example is Cinci.. granted they had AJ Green already when they drafted Dalton but Sanchez had a better skill set than Dalton. What have the Bengals done the last few years after drafting Dalton? WR Mo Sanu TE Jermaine Gresham TE Tyler Eifert A QB needs weapons to be succesful and as bad as Sanchez has been it hasn't helped that we have let his targets and OL walk every year.
Richardson Would Not Have Made It To the 2nd round. The Cowboys were rumored to be high on him. The guy has freakish ability exactly the kind that could be disruptive to QB's. I'm not so happy with our first pick a guy coming off 5 surgeries. Those types usually do not get healthier as they age. Maybe they are thinking about moving him inside to safety.
We will take the next Jim Brown with the conditional pick next year...don't worry. :rofl2: I'm just shitting with you.
This shit is annoying. I'm calling it now if we don't get Geno in the 2nd round we are gonna regret not taking him.
