We'd be in cap hell and have no money for offense. I don't think Winslow or Goodson would even be on the roster. I would have never guessed we'd draft another linesman but he's really turning out to be something. Our line is scary this year. HUGE upgrade over Devito or an aging ailing Pou'ha. Just wait until Coples gets back. Teams are going to be worried.
Bump. I think everyone should re-read the first page of this thread. Richardson was a godsend. He's in the running for DROY and is among the few players that I am excited about for the future of this team. Of course we all complained when we drafted him, but Idzik and the scouting team made a great decision on this one.
This would have been my reply if I wasn't sitting out my 14th TGG ban during the 2013 draft. In case I'm banned again, the Jets beat out NE for the AFCE :metal:
Bump because I'm surprised more people were mad about this when we somewhat had a need than they are tonight and because I thought it would help but it didn't.
It's all about what do you want out of your GM. Do you want a GM to compile a bunch of great players regardless of redundancy or construct a well balanced roster? The Chiefs a couple of years ago won just 2 games with 6 pro-bowlers on their roster. Is that GM better than the better than a GM that builds a roster that wins 10+ games, makes the playoffs but has half the amount of Pro-bowlers? This whole week NFLN has been introducing Charlie Casserly as a GM that picked 1st overall twice with the Houston Texans and kept listing some of the Pro-Bowlers he drafted as though that was a good thing. If you picked first overall twice as a GM, that means you were not a very good GM. You constructed the worst team league TWICE!!!
The best part is that all the people trashing.Rich in this thread are now sucking his crank and wanting to trade Wilk for a bag of peanuts, neither one is going anywhere
