No way in hell are the Raiders thinking QB Carr is the man, the only teams we are in competition with are the Titans and Bucs
I can see that game as being the most important game of the year. Hate to say it, but whoever loses that game, wins.
Week 15 Currently 1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2-11 (.488) 2. Tennessee Titans: 2-11 (.490) 3. Jacksonville Jaguars: 2-11 (.522) 4. New York Jets: 2-11 (.549) 5. Oakland Raiders: 2-11 (.590) 6. Washington Redskins: 3-10 (.500) 7. New York Giants: 4-9 (.522) Jets @ Titans - biggest game of the year absolutely have to lose Giants vs Skins - in case we mess up and win a game it would best for the Skins to win Buccaneers @ Panthers - panthers destroyed the saints last week doesn't look good Jags @ Ravens - Jags looked good for a little while in front of an empty crowd last week Raiders @ Chiefs - won't be easy to sweep the series but it's possible
All the early games gave us hope early but everyone lost. Makes this game so much more important to lose.
Yep we are at #5 with a chance to be at #4 by the end of the day. We are .002 points behind the jags in SOS or something like it. It is very close. If OAK could beat BUF we would be at #3 or #4. If we win next week we will be no worse than #6. With they way the saints played today I wouldn't bet against TB winning next week. If Tenn signs Cutler we very well could have our choice of QB. Obviously that is very far fetched though.
what happens if raiders win today? are we going to move ahead of them? their sos is probably higher than ours
oh actually you responded to this already. at worst we need to draft amari cooper (and get rid of harvin). if the titans pick up cutler then we can get winston. i dont think tampa is going to end up beating the saints tho, that would be a miracle. so if the raiders win this game, tb wins next week and tenn signs cutler and jets lose, thats what needs to go down for mariota.
Care for some projection possibilities? A Jets loss to the Patriots coupled with a Raiders win over the Bills on Sunday would vault the Jets to No. 4. But a Jets loss and a Bucs loss to the Packers would not affect the Jets' draft position. The Jets cannot vault past the Jaguars this week because the Jets have a higher strength-of-schedule percentage. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/20...washingtons_win_over_eagles_impacts_jets.html
