    Arizona in the winners pool.

    Detroit in the losers pool.

Basically I'm going to take whomever is playing at Seattle or at GB in the loser pool pretty much for the rest of the year.

The local sports radio guy is plugging his HOVAD system.

    H - Home teams only
O - Out of Division Games
    V - Vegas Knows
    A - Avoid Bad Teams
    D - Don't Save a team for later

I would never pick an away team. Ever.

Patriots at Jax, Packers at Tenn, Seattle at Chicago I don't care.

    Home teams only.

I get almost all those and generally have been going by it without knowing about the 'system' proper but what's the V - I assume that means biggest line of the week? That's a little elementary, I don't pay any attention to the lines at all lol

I only do one eliminator pool for fun, it's a two-strike league, everyone's already got at least one and some two but I'm the only spotless one left. I went New England over Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh over the Niners, Seattle over Chicago and Atlanta over Houston so far. This week I'm probably going with the Packers over the Rams, who usually get thumped in out of division games :p I might switch to the Chiefs-Bears though, depending on who plays for the Bears but really that's probably an easier pick even than Packers-Rams.

Some tough matchups this week. It's hard not to take the Patriots over Dallas. If you already used them, San Diego seems like a good pick as well. I can't find myself to trust any other matchup this week.

That was hilarious reading your thing about home teams only, and then i scroll down 1 post and you're bitching about the home team losing LOL, in a division game at that. Shame on you!

I just joined another elimination pool as I got knocked out in week 2. This time, you pick the LOSING team every week. I went with the Rams to lose to Packers. I figure an emotional letdown is coming after a huge win vs Arizona. Also, who beats the Pack in Lambeau (sp?) anyways.

    Who's losing today?

    Skins at Atlanta?

    Bears at KC?

    Rams at Lambeau?

I went with the Rams. I can't see GB losing at home to them.

Some guy I know runs one every year.

A winners bracket and a losers bracket.

I think 3/4's of the $$ goes to the winners bracket.

That would be quite fun to do a real life thing like that. I'm looking for online though.

Yeah some guy I know runs two separate pools. Week 1 starts the Winner pool and then week 5 starts the loser pool.

So...looking at the games I like for teams to lose this week:
    1) Chargers on a short week to lose at Green Bay
    2) Browns over a tough emotional win at Baltimore to lose this week Vs Denver -- Denver will be without D ware on Defense
    3) Redskins to lose at our jets. I rather save the Redskins for when they play the patriots later in the season

I'm leaning towards taking the Chargers because Packers played like shit at home last week and the Chargers just lost last night to a Big Benless Steelers team

This week, it seems the best winner bets are Arizona and Denver, although I see Denver possibly getting upset. I ultimately went with Arizona, although Big Ben has a slight chance of playing this Sunday.

The rams are dr jeckyl and mr hyde, I avoid their games like the plague, just like I avoid the Jets.

I'm glad I didn't go with my first instinct to pick the Chargers last week.

Pittsburgh has been playing that high risk, high reward type football lately. It's due to bite them in the ass again.

I don't trust Atlanta either. Atlanta is due to be brought back down to earth. They have had a very easy schedule.
