^ USF is serious sleeper in the mediocre Big East. I know it's really early, but they have a legitimate chance to run the table. Skip Holtz has those kids playing some good football. A lot of people forgot about their new RB Darrell Scott. He was the #1 high school back in the country a few years ago. He just didn't do anything after committing to a shitty Colorado team. He's back and doing work for USF. Scott's a big back 6'1 240 with wheels. He's a player to watch.
No doubt that USF may do something in the big east, if Uconn can win it last year sure USF could win it this year, but then again it is just the big east which has completely gone in the toilet. Like I said giving the ball away to a team like Alabama with practically an NFL defense is one thing, giving up 10! turnovers to teams that you are supposed to be better than or at least equal to, tells me all I need to know about that team. Lets not even mention allowing a rival to drive 80 yards in less than 30 secs to lose which is mindbogglingly bad.
They just have bad quarterback play. You can't win with that kind of play at the position. Penn State is another example.
If Kelly sticks with Rees, it may steadily improve. I just feel like he's never going to be anything special. It's not like they'll be winless when this season's all said and done, but they won't win more than six games with this turnover ratio.
