Well they are playing for 1st place in the AFC South this week, they win and Indy loses they are tied with Houston atop the division at 3-5. At least that is what I am reading the Jags message board. In the same sentence he goes on to say if they lose the season is all but over. He is also predicting the Jags put up their highest point total of the year, they only put up 20 on Houston but are going to hang 38 on the Jets.
I think that poster pretty much puts our season in perspective as well. If the Jets fall to 4-4 after a loss to the Jags...I think the Thursday Night game against Buffalo will be held in a ghost stadium. And after a win against the Jags on Sunday I think Buffalo is walking into a a fucking Mad House on Thursday. A loss to Jacksonville spells certain disaster for the Jets hopes at a playoff birth. A win against Jacksonville, I think, propels the Jets to likely back-to-back wins, on a short week, and a revitalized outlook on the season. Can't wait for Sunday, I think, I hope.
This could be a statement game for the Jets. If most of the guys we are worried about are healthy this team could be pissed off and prepared enough to run up the score on the Jaguars.
Meanwhile... http://nypost.com/2015/11/07/what-idzik-will-see-at-jets-game-a-gm-cleaning-up-his-mess/
If Jets lose this game at home as 7 pt favorites after that debacle in Oakland ...Bowles will deservedly be lambasted ....at least by me he will Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
if we dont get a pass rush i see mroe of what happened last week. bortles can sling it and they have wideouts. pressure him and he turns into a complete bum, but we need to get to him to do that
Yeah for the past two weeks but here comes 3 weeks in a row with mediocre to subpar qb teams. Bortles Tyrod Hoyer
I like it, and I think you are 100% right, I hope like you all ends with a W for us. I will at the stadium today, first time ever, to witness a key win. Can't wait. Go Jets
According to bleachers report, it's Kerley's birthday today. It would be cool to see us go to him early and see if he gets on kind of a birthday hot hand. Don't know much about the Jags KO/P coverage but it might also be a good day for him to pull some special teams magic as well... He's no top 10 WR but he's not a trash player either imo.
