I Cant wait until these trolls are silenced by 5:00 min into the 1st quarter. Jets will put their bye week woes in the past and come out in stride after the patriots game are schedule is a but more manage able
Were getting disrespected on First Take by Jon Ritchie and Skip Bayless they are basically saying the Bills are gonna steamroll us. Steven A says if we shut down freddy jackson fitzpatrick has no chance to beat us .
Buffalo is a hard place to play. The crowd is loud all game if it is close. I was at the 26-17 Jets win in 2008 and in the 3rd quarter when the Jets made it 23-10, some people started leaving and it was quiet even though the game got closer in the 4th quarter. Anyway, this week will be nuts. If the Jets can't run the ball, they're in trouble because the Buffalo fans will not quiet down all game. The best thing about Buffalo is that after half time, people are actually in their seats. It is definitely one of the best home field advantages in the league. And I think it is refreshing to see a team play in an old stadium where the fans care about the game and not how many martini bars they can go to or how big the scoreboard is.
Why is that "disrespect". You have a 3rd place team playing a 1st place team at home. 98% of the national media has the Bills winning this game.
I liken these TV football analysts to guys like Jim Cramer on CNBC. Just as you wouldn't take investment advice from that moron, you shouldn't take anything Skip Bayless says seriously.
The Ralph is going to be NUTTTTTTTS with the whiteout and Maybin being a captain. Bring your earplugs.
They also picked the pats last year in that divisional game idk if your remember it , it was when these ny jets beat your pats like a fucken drum
I agree about the noise but the pom pom thing is kinda gay. I mean, most teams hand out a blank t-shirt mabe with a small logo on it, or they rip off the Steelers and hand out white towels...but pom poms? Maybe it makes sense considerng the average Bills fan resembles this guy: ...notice the skirt...
Not saying that it'll be the end of the season if we lose, but if we can't take care of business on the road against an above .500 team then we really have no business being labeled as a playoff contender.
Agreed. It may not be the end of the season, but if they lose, the rest of the season will be spent playing catch-up with no room for error and the chances of that are slim-to-none.
100% agree with you Tommy. Been saying this all along. BUT, looking at immediate history, the Jets have not been successful at beating better teams in the regular season either...and we all know what happened the last 2 years. Our home record is much improved though. I look forward to tough opponents at home this year.
Spread is 2 -- so Vegas isn't even giving the bills the standard 3 point home advantage spread. I don't think Vegas is all that confident that a team allowing 400 yards a game and not being able to pressure the qb will do to well against a team that can run the ball, use play action, and can find mismatches.
Yeah, Buffalo gives up on average 60 yards per game more than the Jets. Big deal. Points per game allowed - Buffalo, 21.0 - 12th in the NFL New York Jets, 21.7 - T-14th in the NFL Jets also give up more yardage on the ground per game. Buffalo, 120 ypg - 19th New York Jets, 126.9 - 24th Oh, you say the Jets can run the ball? Their 28th ranked rushing attack (by yardage) says otherwise. By comparison, Buffalo's is ranked 6th.
Wow go figure another ignorant Bills fan................. Care to look behind the points per game # in regards to the defense? Nah why do that, it would ruin a totally disingenuous post.
There's a reason for that. It's because you're an idiot to throw at the Jets' corners, meaning that teams run the ball far more against the Jets. The stat that actually matters is the yards given up per rush, and in that the Jets are ranked 14th compared to the Bills' lowly 27th place.
Not too mention that in actual points given up by the defense (no pic 6's or fumbles for TD) the Jets # goes down significantly.
