Ahaha..Iam in the same balding phenomenon SOJ... Why can't the Band Aid brothers recognize the BAD coaching .????....Answer: they are too busy playing corporate rip offs ..of course With Age at least there is some "older and wiser" too ....but we share the same addiction to the Green and White train wreck year after year like the movie Groundhog Day...sigh..and how smart is that?
30 is the magic number. More and the Jets win. Less and they lose (but Darnold picks up lessons in what not to do). As much I'm hoping for the Rando Receiving squad to step up, I'm not holding my breath. Expecting at least two awful drops. Had a few, in using notables from Tomlinson and Crowell last week. This week, I'm going to say key drive ending drops from Herndon and Kearse. Darnold only gets sacked twice, but the Bears get a lot of pressure.
Maybe some algorithm can be devised to analyze the posts to provide an "outlook thermometer" at the top of the page to take the collective temperature of TGG. Of course analyzing the posts of Jetophile could be an expensive proposition. Maybe everyone could be permitted to just click on a mood indicator once a day from -5 to +5 and that could fuel the thermometer showing how "the board" feels. Geez, maybe we could get a thermometer for Bowles, one for MacCagnan, one for Darnold, one for Anderson and certainly one for the current state of the uniforms and Fireman Ed.
Me too. He could break our back in two or three places including the return game, on top of receiving and rushing the ball. Allen Robinson of course as well. I'm looking at Miami and Buffalo to get us to .500 at the bye. A win in Chicago would be a pleasant surprise. The line went up a point today tho. Jets +7
my wife thinks I am a fool for sitting through a game...LOL. She laments that I am the only dual MBA that as the game progress I degenerate into a foul mouth and crazed idiot. I guess being SOJ fits...
I think a mirror image of the Vikings game is more likely. Keep it close. Maybe force a few Trubisky mistakes. But our secondary is threadbare and will be torched a few times. Darnold will have some moments, but he'll also be baited into a few rookie mistakes and be plagued by the usual drops Maybe next year when we upgrade the talent a bit and Sam matures. But as of now this team is not ready to go into Soldier Field and win this game
Pretty much exactly what I said earlier Trubisky can run but he’s a very underdeveloped pocket passer at this stage that’s constantly misfiring to open receivers. If we can force him to beat us he won’t. The problem is, you could literally copy and paste that sentence for the Jaguars game yet we still gave up 500 yards to Blake freaking Bortles. I see this as a very similar opponent. Hopefully we’ve learned from our mistakes.
