this is a must win to keep the season alive. if we lose this game, it proves that we just don't have any chance this year regardless of our brutal stretch and our moral victories. if we lose, i want to draft amari coope. i expect to win this game, but you never know

its just so funny how we thought our 8-8 team last year would be at least 8-8 or 9-7. seriously we were gifted two games, and those two games saved rex's job. hell that one push penalty saved rex's job (i honestly think if pats didnt get called for that and pats won rex would not be on the team). all the close games that we won last year are now turning into Ls. We're not getting blown out badly (except at SD) which shows our defense can keep us in any game (but they tend to shit the bed when it matters most), but we've had our chances and they just turned the other way. sigh we all got played yo

Hope we "Jet The Fuck Up" for a Division game or else it's going to be a long walk through the tunnel back to the parking lot.

This is the week to blitz. They held back the last 2 weeks to protect the shitty CBs against Manning and Brady but this week Rex should blitz all day. Buffalo's OL stinks in pass protection and Orton is a just a statue back there. Were talking zero mobility even within the pocket. Plus they won't have to worry about the screen game without Spiller and Jackson. Orton is going to get beat up.

The Jets D will generally shut them down but the challenge will be trying to score. At 1-6 and at home though you pull out all tricks. With nothing to lose they should go for it on 4th downs when the opportunity arises relatively and put a lot of pressure on Buffalo by playing loose. Plus Orton has been turning it over at least once a game. That will help this team if it continues.

Vegas knows this is all a recipe for a Jets victory. Early lines have the 1-6 Jets a 3 point favorite vs. 4-3 Buffalo. I think Vegas is right. I expect a low scoring, Jets victory where they lead close wire to wire. Something like 17-13 Jets.

Why are you all hot and bothered about silly little things like winning and losing? As long as we're competitive and Rex has an awesome defensive game plan we should all be happy.

If the Jets can simply have a good defensive game plan and not get killed sunday, they should give Rex a contract extension haha.

My point isnt that they should have won any of them games, there were reasons that they should have lost. The point is that they were in games with many elite level teams. The Jets weakness is the secondary and played 6 straight games of players who could take advantage of that. Kyle Orton does not scare me nearly as much as they do.

Yanno what? You're absolutely right. No real reason to be concerned with winning or losing. Hell, we lost two consecutive AFCCG's and from the reaction still ongoing, you'd have thought we won both games. Only here in Jetland is a loss as good as a win as long as we look good losing. We're the best 1-6 team in the NFL!

Orton has been rather effective, if you ask me. Chicago is 3-4 with Cutler making too many mistakes. Right now Orton is certainly playing better than Cutler. The Bills are 2-1 since he began starting, the loss being to NE in NE. Orton is rated this year at 92.5, with 5 TD's to 3 interceptions, and his ypa is 7.2. Comp rate is 68.5.

I think we should be concerned, if not outright scared.

The last home team to win a game in Soldier Field was The Blackhawks

Orton is playing fairly well, but that loss was in Buffalo, not NE.

Good Point! The Bears are 0-3 at Home this year and the team is at each other's throats. They looked a little better when we had that MNF date with them.
With Spiller and Jackson both out the Bills will be more 1 dimensional and the screen game will be diminished. So feeling pretty good about the Jets chances this week.

With the lose of both there star RB's the bill's are the weakest they have been for awhile. Running the ball is what got them their wins this year...no excuse for a jets lose now.

Ease up man he has a florida state avatar. He's either from Northern Florida or went to FSU or both. Either way his grasp of the english language would suffer.

Is that like grading on a curve? Like if you're from Mississippi you get 1 typo with not getting called out, North Florida you get 2, Alabama you get 3?

And Arkansas you get an infinite number since you're just a lost cause?

Buffalo is missing two big weapons on offense in spiller and Jackson. Let's see what Orton can do without them and a lack of running game before we shit our pants over the buffalo bills and Kyle Orton.
