That was really a sack by the D-line .... we had too many people for the Pats to account for, and Pace comes free for the sack. The D-line, in effect, turned an aging LB into an edge rusher by the trickle down effect.
Where does it end? At some point there has to be a line drawn. Sorry but I don't think spot of the ball should be up for review at all, somehow games were played for decades without it. I wonder how we managed?
Well we know we can play with them. Mostly special teams is whats killing us. Hopefully our 2nd half stingy D that has only given up 14 points in the 2nd half all SEASON will continue to do so.
too much dancing for ivory. line needs to get a push as well, especially with them only having 6 in the box
Something is wrong with Ivory, he's not his usual explosive self at all, he's basically cautious to the line and going down too easy. Last week the guy wouldn't go down until the 3rd or 4th hard hit. He's not right and couldn't have picked a worse time.
They probably managed with a lot of bad spots. This is a $2 billion league with guys being given contracts worth upwards of $150 million in some cases of quarterbacks. Get the call right. There's too much riding on each play let alone each game.
that was the most pathetic drive of the season. 0 balls by the CS, running clock. they are playing 'not to lose' instead of going for it.
Maybe we should take five minutes after every play to review it, just to be certain there wasn't an unnoticed holding on the offensive line, or possibly a personal foul not noticed by the officiating staff on the field? I mean there's just so much riding on every play and it's a 2 billion dollar league and all. Or is a 10 yard unnoticed holding penalty not critical? Maybe a facemask for 15 not noticed?
Think what you want. Spot of the ball is crucial to the game. I think you're wrong and it's asinine to think that shouldn't be challenge-able. Unless you want to put a referee on the field at every two yards. Think what you want. I'm not going to keep arguing. Go Jets.
