I'm picking the Pats to win every game by double digits until they slow down a bit. If we keep it under 10 points I'll be pleased.
They'll be doing a lot of quick hitters and trying to exploit the flats like the Skins did. The problem is they're much better at that stuff than the Skins and they also have Gronk. I am excited to see how our defense plays against them but from what I've seen so far I think they're going to be very frustrating for our defense. Bowles and his staff have there hands full going into this one. It's just one battle and the war is more important, but the first Bowles vs. Belicheat battle will certainly feel like there's more at stake.
Could be a close game. The key will be sustaining long drives on O by pounding Ivory right up the middle of that D and keeping our defense fresh. A lot of Decker and Marshall quick passes too.
It's also OK to talk about the next game against a division rival who is also the defending cheats I mean champs.
I think if Buster Skrine is held out it will be a tough loss. But the Jets D is good enough to keep the Pats below 30 points and to win the gane the offense needs to get off to a fast start. It would be wrong to think you can beat the Pats by winning the T.O.P. battle and just hand off the ball to Ivory. You need to score points early and often. Their defense isn't that good. I think the Jet offense has shown today it can put points on the board against a decent defense and they need to play fast and aggressive. Get Fitz into a 2 min drill early.
man, I don't even want to think about this one until Monday. Gonna be a tough one, can we have a turnover free football game? we haven't yet and it's hella hard to pick Brady off
Defense is going to have to play huge. It's not like they don't know the Chan Gailey playbook. Pats will come super aggressive like always and try to hang at least 14 points on us in the 1st. If we can hold them, we have a chance.
As much as I want to stay positive - I can't see the Jets winning this one. Up to this game thus far, I think Jets could win the game. Eagles game should have been a win too, except Decker and Ivory were out and fucking punting unit gave up a crucial return TD at the critical juncture of the game. But THIS one? Against Patriots AT Foxboro? I don't think that's happening. I am [hoping] Jets win this one, but I don't [expect] them to.
