yeah, sure buddy. I've heard that from every Pats fan. They all went to every game, snow or hell water. All of them rooted for the Pats long before Brady. All of them watched Steve Grogan as a youth with their dad and dad's friends (also huge pats fans), all of them used to get drunk at the stadium while Hugh Millen was QB. .yada yada yada.

and then I think back to those times and the nearly empty stadiums and wonder what the chances are that everyone who I ever talk to that is a Patriots fan was one of the few back then? seems odd to me

well they did bag Kraft for deflategate...
but they let Tom the weasel Br*dy squirm out of it, and did nothing to Belichick, despite the 'warning' he received after Spygate to knock off the shenanigans on his watch.

all in all, i'd agree they didn't do enough, and that headset thing was a big intentional FU to the league..
    they'll keep cheating no doubt.

Agreed. Seeing Marino's career end with only one SB appearance left me very unimpressed with Shula. For almost his entire career, Marino didn't have a solid running game or championship level defense. There was no salary cap then, so it's not like the QB handcuffed the team financially.

Amazingly, you're in agreement with Tedy Bruschi..

What a difference a year makes... Respect from an enemy is worth far more than bragging rights.

Malcolm Butler doesn't suck. He's turning into a very good corner.

Someone high up is butt buddies with Kraft. Isn't it odd they suspend our WR now. Shit, I'm surprised they haven't slapped one on Richardson.

Also... Kraft was at a party with the judge that let Brady off the hook. How corrupt

Julian Edelman has a completely disformed broken pinky that caused him to drop 3 passes on Sunday and I'd have to imagine is still a factor Sunday. When he gets the ball in his hands on those little quick screens and slants, we need to pry at and punch the ball and see if we can't abuse his weak grip strength to strip the ball.

Lots of people hesitant to expect victory in this thread. I expect the Jets to go into Foxboro and come out on top.

The Patriots* have not faced a defense like ours. Their defense is also rather unimpressive. If we play mistake free football on offense, and our D continues to dominate the second half of football the way we have, I do not see how we lose this game. Ivory, Marshall, and Decker should have big games. Revis will get at least one pick on Brady. Our d-line will shut down their running game.

    Jets will win 24-10.

As unfortunate as it is to say this, this game is a must win game if we expect to win the division. I just do not see how we can win it if we lose this one. 2 games back on an undefeated team is a big hole. The Pats* do not lose enough for us to give them a two game cushion 6 games into the season.

    Win the game. Go Jets!

Remains to be seen how the roster develops over the next couple of years. Our core is not exactly young.
