    Rex's game clock management sucks.

But Rex, the team is not "good enough to win". Every week you find innovative ways to LOSE.

Knowing we had no timeouts and that we were letting the clock tick down, they adjusted the defensive alignment. We had no choice but to snap it anyway, giving them a better chance at a block. Very intelligent call by the special teams coordinator for New England. Or Belichick or whomever called it.

They also gave the checkdown target on 1st and 2nd down to burn more clock intentionally, I don't fault Geno for taking that but I also know we lost a good 40 or so seconds just off that since that checkdown target gets tackled in the middle of the field. Not getting the 1st down automatically on the 1st dumpoff that final drive cost the Jets time since Geno could snap the ball right after.

You could only hope for better execution by the Jets on that play cause guys are making these 50 yard plus kicks and so can Folk. Would have loved to wipe that smile off Kraft and his son.

Geno definitely made the right call doing that, honestly he played tough and smart all game, and only took the one bad sack. I'm not hopping on his dick he did play well today.

Geno played smart today..he's not the savior but it was a game that can be built upon. The question is does he build on it? Time will tell.

Yeah if Geno isn't the answer as the starter he's worth keeping around as a backup. But he did make some bad decisions and was very lucky he had no turnovers. Also continuing problems handling the ball. The handoffs are not clean and the timing isn't always there.
