Doubt it's gonna be a big factor. It's not like we have a really good edge rusher who could make an impact now with him out.
Its a trickle effect with their entire o-line. Their starting center is out along with their left tackle. I expect to see a lot of miscommunications on their front leading to unblocked defenders coming to kill KC, along with plenty of false starts.
Correct. We're down starting left tackle and centre. Along with Culliver another starting corner. Thus could get ugly. As for those who don't think it will make a huge difference, think again. It might not be about pass protection as it is try to run block against a top 3 defensive line in NFL. We have no idea if our backups are even NFL material.
The Jets don't have a big time edge rusher, but I'm guessing that Williams was the only o-lineman that Washington would trust to block Richardson or Wilkerson 1 on 1. Losing Williams should also make stopping the run easier for the Jets.
I'm braking my own rule of not looking beyond Sunday's game, but here it goes. I'm hoping we get plenty of help in the running game from someone other than Ivory. I Want to mitigate the punishment on Ivory the week before we play the Pats. That is when we really need him to carry the load and control the clock. Powell and Stacy need to bring the A game this Sunday, with Ivory remaining fairly fresh by the fourth quarter when the D is nice and gassed. Hell what do I know.

So many complimentive stats there, you'd think they were undefeated. So basically I can expect a lot of frustrating drives for the defense? Not sure I buy that. They haven't faced a defense like ours yet. Also, how many years has it been since we won after a bye? This could finally be the year! Edit: Looked it up. 5 of the 6 Rex years we lost after the bye. The 1 win was 2011.
I just want to break the curse of the bye week! With Rex, always felt like we got embarrassed after having the extra week. -
I'll take the Jets by 3. It'll be a tough game but we have the home field advantage. These are the kinds of games the Jets will have to win to even think of a wildcard.
I'm starting to worry about this game, because on paper, the Jets should blow out the Redskins. Not sure how the Jets will react to this.
I felt that way about the Eagles game but not this one. I'm actually expecting a blowout for the first time in a while.
I think we either blow them out, or we lose outright. It's either a classic 'SOJ' loss or a ho-hum, no nonsense performance from a good, playoff-contending team.
No one should ever think our opponents are an "easy out". We simply don't have the offensive firepower to do so consistently. That is not to say that our offense isn't vastly improved, but as long as the QB isn't top tier (or rather could potentially shit the bed), i'm always on the edge of my seat. On paper, sure, we should kick the snot out of them, but maybe it's the pessimist in me, always thinking the worst for this team.
