Like a time machine....Colts will also be wearing the same colors they had on in SB III. Now all that's missing is that the defense, and especially the secondary, petitions the NFL to be able to play by 1968 rules.
There is absolutely no reason to lose this game tomorrow. Pressure the shit out of Luck, no stupid penalties on 3rd down and don't turn the ball over on offense. Lets go.
Mmmmm...Partly Cloudy 61 degrees with a chance of Jet Win. For Tailgate think I'll do Ribs with Baked Beans and Cole Slaw...maybe Hot Toddies.
Here are some reasons. Luck was at one point a top tier QB, and he seems to be rounding back into form. He's averaging about 50 passes a game, while Skrine and Johnson will apparently be out. Maye and Middleton are hurt and questionable, although Maye will likely play. Sounds like a possible recipe for the Colts to score a bunch of points. The biggest reason they might not is that T.Y. Hilton is out for the Colts, but that doesn't guarantee it won't happen. Peake and Pierre-Louis are out, and they've been strong contributors for the Jets on special teams. On the other side of the ball Darnold has been wildly inconsistent, as would be expected from a rookie QB. Crowell is hurt (ankle) and didn't have a full practice all week, so it's not clear what he'll bring. The Jets are probably a bit better than the Colts, but the difference isn't all that large. Playing at home helps too, of course. I'll go with the Jets by less than a TD, but I won't be shocked if Luck goes off on them.
Cman history under Bowels says we lay an egg and pull a no show , I guess we will know in a few hours but no worries as Bruce Arians says Jet fans should be " ECSTATIC "
We are getting in that dangerous territory of hoping to cheer on wins that will lead us to a fucking mediocre 8-8 and a shit draft pick. It makes me feel dirty but if we can't go to the play-offs I would rather we lose for another season and get another good draft pick and try again. Obviously, if we lose by a score and we get 3 good quarters of play, we can pretend that we won, bar a last quarter collapse lol
If I recall correctly, the last time the Jets won two back to back home games was in 2011. Brutal. Let's hope that glorious streak ends today. Then again, hope is for fools.
Darnold jersey on, Jets socks on, RedZone on, GamePass on, excitement really on, come on you Jets! Let's do it!
