I'm not calling for Bowles's job for the decision to punt, but my opinion of him just dropped. Stupid decision on so many levels. Even if you don't get the 1st down, Pittsburgh is only up by 11. So if you hold them to a FG, it's still a two score game and they can't kill as much clock.
If the Jets went for it and failed, PIT would have had the ball back at mid-field. The Jets punted and PIT was able to eat more clock as they had were deeper in their own territory. What I'm saying is that it was a call that shows no faith in the offense and the offense should be furious.
This was my biggest fear. Not only did we lose, but Fitzpatrick was only mediocre so he won't lose his job.
