I do wonder which Jets team shows up today. We all know how consistent under Bowles this team is on any given gameday.
Yeah, on a serious note, most people in the trades have been zapped at least once. The old man is blue collar (Local 3), but mostly telecomm & data. Very handy with electrical also, which is a plus around here. We live in an old bungalow, and you wouldn't believe the firetrap we were living in before re-wiring the place CORRECTLY. It would have never in a million years passed inspection today. It was built in 1939, so you can imagine the rat nest of cloth covered wires in the walls (shudders). They just kind of made it up as they went along. While doing said re-wiring with an electrician friend of his, he got zapped so bad once he got knocked off the ladder (which of course wasn't metal). Someone he knew peripherally (also Local 3, but electrician) was electrocuted to death at Westchester Co. Airport 2 years ago. He was installing runway lights and after a malfunction, he wasn't thinking and opened the panel and as soon as he touched it that was the end of him. Yeesh. Poor guy. Close to retirement, too. I guess sometimes you get so used to doing things that you forget to exercise extreme caution. So anyway, you haven't shat yourself since before you could remember, lol. There's always a first time! GO JETS!
I hope our OL can limit the damage done by Miller and Chubb. Good thing the Yankees won last night. I don't know if I could take my favorite baseball team going down 0-2 to the Sox and my favorite football team losing at home in the same weekend.
Too bad Chubb isn't like the guy we used to call Mr. Chubbs years ago. He was this overweight guy who used to run across the field with a Jets flag every time the Jets scored a TD. Thing was, he was so out of shape that he could barely keep it upright and his momentum would almost make him belly flop face first. Unfortunately, it never quite happened. A shame.

I had to look it up it was in 2010. I also remember the Jets beating them here when Shanahan was still the coach but I'm not 100% on that.
