Heard an interesting statistic about this game today. In the past 30 years, in roughly 1000 games one team had a +3 turnover margin over the other team. The team with the +3 margin won about 90% of those games. The Jets losing was unusual, but we already knew that. The interesting thing is this: in those roughly 100 games that the team with the +3 margin lost, no team lost by more than 17 points. The Jets, of course, lost by 19. That is, in a real sense, last Sunday the Jets had the worst result of a team with a +3 turnover margin in the last 30 years of NFL play. Aren't they special?
