haha funny! I was in a small pub in Ireland last week and saw 3 fat cows at the bar. Trying to be polite I asked: "Are you 3 lassies from Dublin?" "Wales" they screeched, "It's bloody Wales". "I'm sorry, Are you 3 whales from Dublin?" That's the last thing I remember
I think the thing that bothers me the most is that you consider that from your youth and yet you are a grandparent. It's like I've been on the internet for 100 years.
I did not feel good about the Eagles game, but this one feels more like a real tossup. What worries me is that Revis and Cro are both not at 100%, and that might affect covering the fish wideouts. Could be the difference here. The Jets will not want to give Miami too many points, especially in terms of a more than one score lead.
Didnt feel good about the Eagles at all. Deep down, I knew that was going to be a loss. I feel better about this game than I did against the Eagles, but I feel worse than I did for the Colts game. Real tossup in my mind.
The Fins have been getting a lot of (fair) criticism in the media (local and national) so far, especially with the expectations they had coming into the season. I have a feeling that if the Jets beat them in embarrassing fashion ( like Buffalo), Philbin's services won't be needed in Miami anymore. So, does the team, realizing this, step up and play inspired football to save their coach - and season - or keep treading down the same path? I guess this is what makes me nervous about the game. Philly was in a similar spot and beat us. It's way too early in the season for a team to "give up," so my guess is the Dolphins will come out a bit more "motivated." But it would really be nice if the Jets could finally come out the gates hot on offense and defense. If so, maybe the pressure gets to the Dolphins and they make mistakes.
Fireman Ed is on a double decker bus in front of Buckingham Palace leading J-E-T-S chant...haha...oh my Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's still a rivalry game. And in London. So anything can happen. On paper: the Jets should win, but you never know. No one is afraid, but it won't be easy.
Time to send Philbin home I guess. If there are players trying to get rid of him, no reason for them to put the best effort on field.
What is easy for the Jets......when's the last time we played a game you would have comfortably bet everything you own that we would win 100% no questions asked.....Maybe the Bills when Gailey and Fitz were there....other then that there are no guarntees with this team these days
I fully expect a loss tomorrow. Dolphins are going to come out angry after least week. (Much like Eagles) Fitz has been getting progressively worse and really has not done anything to win or loose the game for us, this is the week we loose BECAUSE of him.
