Rule Number 3. Draft a QB someone in the top 4 rounds every year, or at least every other year, until someone steps up and claims franchise QB.
Stop saying that!!! It's making me manically depressed and maniacally violent at the same time. Holy fuck what a screwup. _
Even in weak QB years, you never know when you're going to find that guy that flies under radar in college but lights it up at the NFL level.
I was so pissed they bypassed Bridgwater in the first and then later Metzenberger in the later rounds...I wanted Bridgwater bad but could have lived with Metzberger as a fall back.
This draft is proving to be a royal screw-up in missing out on a QB. Gorappolo and Bridgewater for the taking and we walk away with countless released players and Tajh fuckin Boyd.
I was down in Tennessee not long ago and they are gushing about Mettenberger. That guy throws lasers. _
Teddy, Carr, Garapollo, Mettenberger and we could be set for a decade. Hell even Manziel would have been a hoot. _
Well, I wasn't too high on Carr and Mettenberger. Gorappolo has me a little ok with missing considering New England took him so high, but Bridgewater has me pissed. He was there for us. Gorappolo I don't think was first round talent.
Teddy was the prize. Those other 3 are going to be very good players in this league. With Rex's defense, perennial contenders. _
The thing about Mettenberger is that he was still on the board in the 5th, that's a bargain based risk. Bridgewater was about a sure thing. The Jets just put all their eggs in one basket....which isn't the "Seattle way".
