If anyone watches the game on a soundsystem then you heard what was quite possible the loudest "Bullshit" chant in the history of the NFL.

    5.1 was absolutely kikin tonight!

No surround sound, and still heard it for a good minute or two. Louder than closed stadiums usually get

Just got back. Here is the rule on FGs. The entire ball must pass inside the outside edge of the upright.

Former head ref, FOX uses him a lot. Ball clearly did pass inside the outside edge.

A FG that goes over the top of an upright is not reviewable because you cannot determine when exactly the ball is directly over the pole

Al Michaels said any part of the ball must be over the upright, so I guess he got the rule wrong, because those are two different things.

The FG was good according to either interpretation, though.

What should be noted is that two games in a row against the Pats Joe Flacco has led the team down the field for what should have been the game winning drive. I'm sure he's quite happy about tonight but my guess is he rather would have had that one in the playoffs.

Call me crazy but I think the Ravens are the best team in the AFC, they are one terrible offensive PI away from being 3-0. I see them and Houston as the two best teams barring injury of course. The Steelers look vulnerable and the Pats don't seem to be on Baltimore's level right now. All the other teams are pretenders, Cinci, Buffalo, Denver, SD, and us. It's only week 3 but I really only see 4 teams that could represent the AFC in the SB.

Still a lot of football to play. Plenty of players could go down injured or step up out of nowhere. It's hard to envision the Jets in the playoffs right now, but stranger things have happened.

Neither were particularly pretty but a Sunday that includes a Jets win (over a division rival no less) and a Pats loss has to be considered a good one in my books.

I'm sure it won't last but here are the AFC East Standings at the moment:
    1) NY Jets - .667
    2) Buffalo Bills - .667
    3) NE Patrios - .333
    4) Miami Dolphins - .333

We also are 2-0 in divisional games.

Like I said, it's obviously not going to stick that way but it's nice to be in first for the time being.

Had McCourty hung onto that INT, that would've about sealed the game.

Also, all those incomplete passes by the Patriots in the 4th really came back to haunt them.

I don't think anyone would call you crazy, but to me it's pretty clear Houston is the best team in the AFC (and the NFL) right now.

Sunday sucked. The best player got injured and could be out for a while. That means a lot more than making up a game on New England.
