Just 3 consecutive weeks where I don't feel like an asshole for being a fan of this team. That's all I ask. Maybe the only way is to stop watching.
I'm willing to give Darnold a chance because he's so new, and because he has horrible coaching, so I don't know what he's capable of. He's got the right mindset for the game, he just needs to be directed on how to use it.
The Jets offense played scared today. They were so scared of the rush that they didn't even try for long throws.

Bridgewater should have started this year. We will ruin another QB prospect. This kid should have never played on this team with this coach.
You can blame a lot of plays, but I think the one play that would have won us this game was the dropped interception in the endzone. It keeps the game 2 possessions, and would have been huge stop against Mayfield.
Exactly... just like last week the O lost that game and this one and the play calling was pathetic. One thing Sam needs to start to look for all receivers not just 81.
Todd Bowles gets too comfortable for me when the Jets go up by a little. He gave the Browns an in by not staying aggressive with the play calling. Inexcusable.
Props to Robbie Anderson, Doug Middleton, and offensive line for making this one special. Yeah, rookie QB could have played a bit better but he played pretty well for a rook who was running for his life all night.
Darnold was atricious tonight but, I think the 3 games in ten days was to overwhelming. Meanwhile, Mayfield comes off the bench fresh as a daisy looking like Joe Montana. Penalties were inexcusable. Vets like Johnson and Crowell should be setting the stage for professionalism not opening the door for the clown car.
