Steelers drop to 0-3. Have to head to London next week, followed by a bye, then us. Sucks we will get them off a bye.

    yep

He was mistaken and he wanted to get that gambling reference in. I think he's made at least one during every game he's done for NBC.

Brent Musberger is the other guy famous for doing that.

Tomlin should've used timeouts before the 2 minute warning, I think

game is out of hand either way

I think if Cutler had faked it to the RB and ran a bootleg he could've picked up the first down to finish it

as for the punt, don't touch it

see how long they let the clock run

Hey, if you want to talk about a football announcer who liked games of chance, you don't need to go any further than Alex Karras. I don't think Al Michaels ever was suspended from his job for a year over it!

thanks to all the turnovers, I believe tonight was the most yards for Big Ben in a game since 2009

I never heard him personally but I did hear about him getting in trouble over that one.

bogus PI called on Oakland offense and they're forced to punt

Don't you want Denver to win?I root for anyone who has a chance of keeping the Pats out of the top 2 seeds.

Have to agree. If the Donks end up choked, it's an interesting game.

I'm so glad the patriots don't have Wes Welker anymore, he made Charles Woodson look silly on that TD.

Yeah that has to hurt lol, we had a somewhat similar situation with Danny Woodhead though. Nowhere near as good a player as Welker though.

He would not have been half the player he is today if he stayed with the Fins, there was nobody to get him the ball when he was there.

I absolutely agree with you there because we had the likes of Joey Harrington, Trent Green and Cleo Lemon at the time :eek:hmy::lol::rofl2: ... lol

but you could tell that he CERTAINLY was an "above average" player. One thing I admired about him even in Miami was his ability to take HUGE hits and shake them off ESPECIALLY while returning punts.

    Tremendous toughness.

Peyton first QB in NFL history to throw 12 TD passes in the first 3 games of the seaon (and there's still a half to go).

I had a 35-point lead in fantasy with Moreno and Julius Thomas still to play...but my opponent had Peyton and Decker still to play. My 35 point lead is down to 3 and it's not even halftime yet. Of course the league I actually have Peyton in I'm too far behind for even one of his insane games to benefit me in.

Decker, Thomas, Welker, and J. Thomas have 17 targets - and 0.0 incomplete passes.
