First time in Brady's career that he has thrown 3 TD passes in the first quarter. That's really hard to believe.
Quite the sequence in Eagles-Chiefs game. Wentz throws an easy INT but it bounces off the CB and right into the hands of the receiver for a long completion. Eagles kick a tying 30-yard FG as time expires at the end of the half but a timeout had been called beforehand. Eagles try the kick again and now it misses.
Sean Payton clearly knows his defense is hopeless, as Saints go for it on 4th and 3 from inside the 25-yard-line. Pass to the end zone never has a chance and the Saints get nothing.
Brady avoids the rush and throws a perfect TD pass to Gronk, who drops it. Pats don't get the first down on the next play, but do kick the FG as time expires. Pats up 30-13 at the half.
Vikings stop Steelers and FG attempt misses, but Vikings are penalized for "stacking the line" and Steelers successful on the second attempt.
The chiefs marched right down the field in their first two possessions, left TDs on the table and have not been able to get anything going since. As much as I love Andy Reid, the guy has like 90% pass to run ratio. It's actually helping the Philadelphia defense that he is so pass happy.
Saints defense now committing penalties on plays that turn into Brady interceptions (someone should explain to them that then they don't count).
That's the one thing that worries me, the Bears suck, and they're a risk to finish with < 3 wins. At least they already drafted a QB, but if they trade down... Also, after that kinda meh first half, FINALLY Chiefs/Eagles gets good.
Bills inexplicably burn 14 seconds off the clock by not calling timeout on a Taylor run when they had two timeouts. Now timeout with 14 seconds left and fourth down.
