the browns have some good olineman... but thats no excuse to not get pressure, especially on plays we sent 6 or 7 guys. to me, besides qb play, there is no bigger concern on this team then pass rush
being pissed doesnt help them. being at home does. i thinkw e have a chance now that Hilton is out. but they should still be favored. i thinkwe can win like a 23-20 type game or 23-17. but they could also blow us out if fitz turns it over. if they get ahead of us our run game advantage is minimized
I don't think pass rush from the OLB needs to be excellent once you have stud DL in 3-4. My preference would be safety blitz right through A gap. Colts OL in the middle is very - VERY - weak. Just keeping Luck contained would be more than sufficient. A gap blitz will seal the deal - and you see, you don't need OLB rushing the QB for that. Maybe MLB or [FUCK YEAH] SS. [Imagine Pryor flying in through A gap, laying woods on Luck. That has got me creaming in my pants, honestly.]
infinitesimal is absolutely moronic. Beyond moronic. our D line should dominate their O line. OUr O line should handle their D line. Theyre most likely without their biggest weapon and theres a huge drop off in weapons after that. Luck is a turnover machine and the coach already has one foot out the door over there. We have far far more of a chance than " infinitesimal"
Andrew Luck has a career complete % of 58. How many here would have guessed that? He has a career rating of 86. He has had some monster games for sure but he has also had som terrible ones. He may very well be the most overrated player in the NFL. If you've seen him a lot, he makes tons of mistakes and throws some terrible passes. Hes also had his ass pounded like a veal cutlet and would probably be dead by now if it was for his great size. A very good defense with a good secondary can definitely force him into making mistakes. He had more turnovers last year than Geno fucking Smith guys. Lets get off his cok a little bit or we might turn into mike francessa
I will add that its tough to win If he was in Green & White, i would be on his.... well. He is the unanimous number 1 player everyone would take if they were starting a team. This game will be tough for the Jets, in fact its tough to win on the road in the NFL no matter who ou are. Last night is a perfect example, I thought the Eagles would smoke the Falcons.
Bookies have the Jets as 7 point underdogs or the Colts as 1 to 3 straight up - not too often they screw up on such margins - LETS JUST HOPE THIS IS ONE OF THEM DAYS
To be fair, he also threw 40 TD's and ran for 3 more, against 16 ints and 4 fumbles. I pray that I live long enough to see a QB in a Jets uni put up those kind of numbers in one season...
no doubt...I think it was 8 fumbles but I get your point. And I said hes had some monster games but this guy is no Aaron Rodgers...not even close
I agree with your post, but if I had to pick one QB based on their age and ability, Luck is the guy I would take to build a team around...
Does he practice now during the suspension? Or is he banned from the facility once the reg season began?
Honestly pass rush should be the last thing we are worried about.. once Mauldin and Richardson comes back shit will get scary. Pace been washed since 2013 so sending him aint no real threat.. And Manziel ran a lot so he had us on our heels..
No, he can go to meetings and be at the facilities but he can't practice or be at games. If it was PED or personal conduct he'd be banned from the facility.
He is a genuine match winner though. He can turn and win games for his team. That's why he's rated so highly, it's not just about the numbers.
